"I hate my fans!!"
Mc Idoldork needs to spend a week with my budding rockstar son, Hunter. (www.myspace.com/huntersstroud ) He'll show him how to treat a girl. He just recorded a cover of Pat Benatar's "Heartbreaker". Sigh.
Please read the note that dork from "Idol" wrote to all those bothersome people who like him:
"Hey everyone,
First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who has been coming out to the shows since my last post. The vibe at these shows has been amazing.
Secondly, I have to address some behavior that has become disturbing. We pride ourselves on being accessible to you as fans, but in contrast, we do enjoy what little privacy we can muster. To that end, the efforts by some fans to find our hotel rooms, call our hotel rooms, attach things to our bus, etc., is something I have to condemn. This relationship only works when it remains healthy for both parties, and should this behavior continue, the only thing we can do is take more preventative measures to maintain our privacy, which in turn makes us less accessible to you.
I hope this doesn't come off as harsh. I merely want to nip this in the bud so we can continue to have a great experience with all of you at the shows we have coming up.
Take care and see you at the next show. ~D"
"This relationship?" WHAT relationship? What School of Rock did this a-hole attend? Clearly not the REAL one. Real rockstars are supposed to open their hotel room, bus and backstage doors and zippers for the groupies.
God, he's stupid.
Douchey Mc Idoldork has taken to his MySpace page to let all his 95-year old fans that he doesn't want them to do anything except pay for their goddamned tickets, t-shirts and cd's and then eff OFF. The End.

Just went for a listen to Hunter's cover of Pat B. It's great!!
See, people that don't know what they are talking about should just not talk. You obviously don't know the story. This was posted TO his fans, ABOUT his fans, and people who are out of the loop shouldn't even bother to read it!
Jessica...why does that make it better that it was TO his fans ABOUT his fans? Oh, and I was quoted tonight on E! about this. Whatever. ;)
It matters because it's all the haters that are making the rude comments and not the people it was meant for.
Jessica. Umm. Okaaay. (shrug)
It's a bit pretentious (at least it seems so to me because i've never even heard of the twat) because he's not exactly a 'STAR' - if at this point he's complaining about his fans he's best off giving up and getting a normal job. The over zealous fans are compensated for by the outrageous wages he probably earns. And christ - some BIG STARS have been REALLY stalked and made less of a thing about it.
Can you even IMAGINE Mick Jagger saying this shit back in the day? As IF.
It's the people that don't know what's going on that are mad because they don't understand why he posted what he did. David loves to meet his fans. He goes out of his way to do it. He walks around in the casinos with little to no security because the fans have been respectful of his privacy...until recently. He's just saying that if these few unruly fans don't stop, he is going to have to stop being as accessible as he has been. He doesn't want that to happen, which is why he posted that for us. Most of the fans know he's not talking about us...
I'm probably leaving myself open for a beatdown...but, I like David Cook, and I don't think there was anything that bad about what he said. Being in the public eye should not mean the end of anything resembling privacy. There. I said it.
"Public eye" is different than "rockstar" to me. It seriously comes with the territory. If you appeal to a certain demographic, they are going to try to meet you (by the tour bus, the hotel, whatever). He's fortunate people are even going to his shows. Look at "(ass)Soul Patrol" Taylor Hicks, who had to GIVE AWAY FREE TICKETS last week to fill empty seats. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, is all I'm sayin'.
See that's just the thing. He wants the fans to come out by the buses and meet him. He walks around at the casinos and will ahppily meet the fans every chance he gets. He's not complaining about any of that, in fact, he's trying to save that kind of interaction with his fans. Lots of people are "taking the blog out of context". His own words...
