History in America

"If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer."
Barack Obama, November 4, 2008

I am so pleased that Obama was voted in as the next president. I truly believe it is not only an American milestone, but also a world changing event. As Canadians, we have watched first hand as our neighbors to the south have struggled through the Bush administration. Obama is the light of Hope that America needs! I am a proud Canadian so HAPPY for my US friends!!!

WooHoo!! Sorry J; I've been under the weather and haven't posted for awhile. Yay!! I am so freakin' happy!! I, like Michelle Obama said a few months ago, am proud to call myself an American. One vote at a time; we did it!!!
