What Will Michelle Obama Wear to the Inaugural Ball?

From Style.com :

"Will Michelle Obama wear a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund designer to the Inaugural Ball?

On the campaign trail, the newly minted fashion icon Michelle Obama was known for supporting up-and-coming designers like CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund participants Thakoon and Jason Wu. Wondering if she would continue with that trend, we asked some of the previous Fashion Fund designers what they think the new First Lady should wear on this very historic day—and here are the sketches they shared with us:"

This Marchesa one-shouldered gown gets MY vote!
Modern and cool, but too sexy for Michelle.
Derek Lam designed this elegant "Nile Green" gown
for Michelle...gorgeous.
While I'm very excited to see what Michelle brings to the table in terms of First Lady Style, let's not forget she's a Harvard-educated attorney, please?

Love the Marchesa and the Lam. If she follows the trend of her predecessors; she will wear several gowns that night.

By the way my Jules, before you read my latest post I want you to be clear that I am having a go at The Daily Telegraph and not at you, celeb based sites, celeb based magazines, Barrack Obama and, most importantly, you.

The Daily Telegraph is the last remaining broadsheet in Britain and is supposed to be purely news with gravitas.

Horses for courses is what I'm trying to say.

Are those new shoes? That dress looks fabulous. mwah xx

Cartermagna my chum,
Might it be the beautiful, funny & very smart Julia intimidates you a little *wink*!! All those years with bimbos on 'à emporter' haven't prepared you for verbal fencing with the real McCoy!
(notice i said 'verbal' and not 'oral' - the good one's are all married so tough!)
