2009 Primetime Emmy Awards Announced

Neil Patrick Harris,
Host of the Primetime Emmys
Kathy Griffin,
Host of the "Schmemmys"!

The 2009 Primetime Emmys were announced this morning. Sigh. I really don't regularly watch much of anything mentioned below. I do try to catch "The New Adventures of Old Christine" with Julia Louis-Dreyfus because I LOVE her. (I think she needs her own category for those hilarious Healthy Choice commericals.)

I LOVE Julia Louis Dreyfus!

I do like "Flight of the Conchords" a lot, and it's cool Jemaine Clement was nominated. Why, oh WHY is Tony Shalhoub from "Monk" nominated for the 8000th time?? Good Lord. SICK. OF. HIM.

Oh, I'm THRILLED about Kathy Griffin's two nominations, AND she is also hosting the "Schmemmys", as she calls the Emmys for the "lesser" Creative Arts categories held a couple weeks before the "real" Emmys. I have a feeling this show will be far more entertaining. (Kathy has won for the past two years for Best Reality Series, Bitches! That's actually what it's called. Heh.)
