Friends and family said goodbye to Farrah Fawcett at a private funeral held Tuesday, at the appropriately named Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles.

"Farrah Fawcett's friend Alana Stewart and "Charlie's Angels" co-star Kate Jackson were among early arrivals before the hearse arrived, accompanied by 10 motorcycle officers, the Associated Press reports.

Her companion, Ryan O'Neal, was among pallbearers who accompanied the casket, covered in yellow and orange flowers, into the Roman Catholic cathedral."

Her son, Redmond O'Neal, was released from jail temporarily for the occasion.

I can't help but wonder how Redmond and Ryan will move on with their troubled lives without Farrah.

It's been a very sad week, hasn't it?
