Frances Bean Cobain and her nutty mom,
Courtney Love
Courtney Love
Courtney Love is insane. There I said it. I know you're all shocked by that revelation, but listen up. While staying at the druggie hotel of choice, The Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, an argument ensued between mother and daughter. Seems poor Frances wanted her own room. What?? She didn't want to stay up all night listening to her mother's crazy rants?
The Gawker reports:
"Frances miraculously appears to be a well-adjusted 16-year-old despite a mother who threw her a suicide-themed birthday party and called her a "gay man trapped in a woman's body." Asking for a hotel room to escape the live version of her mom's long, scary MySpace diatribes is just evidence of her growing maturity."
I used to follow Courtney on Twitter. I got so sick of her crazed posts that I blocked her ass. Entire pages were filled with her angry, spewing bile. She was pissed off at someone every single day and rattled on about everyone stealing from her. I have a feeling the person accessing her AmEx and raiding her bank accounts is one of the MANY voices in her head. Batshit crazy.

She was good in Larry Flint though....since then, she doesn't even look like herself.
Playing Larry's strung-out slutty wife wasn't a stretch, though.
Having said that, "Live Through This" is STILL one of my favorite albums...
No you're right haha!
As for Hole - Carter & my bro' played it to death during a summer in France whilst living in a tent and revising for their exams. I'll always remember it for that - Oi! Carter? Remember?
"I'm Miss World...somebody kill me..."
HAHAHAAA!
We played that cassette to death because it was either that or one of the many million Bon bloody Jovi albums you had.
I seem to remember me & Frog being nuts about an Aimee Mann album too.
Carter: No other Seattle music back then? No Pearl Jam or Soundgarden or Nirvana?
Bon Jovi? Bleh. Never, EVER a fan, Annette.
xoxo j
I KNOW! AND i went to see them twice. I had lost interest in music by the time Soundgarden Nirvana & Pearl Jam came along (well, not quite because i still LOVE Ten and Nevermind but i stopped at that). Bro' loved all that stuff. UK stuff like The Stone Roses & The Charlatons were his thing.
Seattle stuff was pretty much all we did listen to back then. There's a cracking pic Annette has of me & her brother looking well tough smoking fags sat on his MkII ford Escort. In fact I'll dig it out for you Jules.
Ooooh...I wanna see it Carter!!!
